Seven of Swords
Card "Seven of Swords" Credit: Tarot Rider-Waite

VII Seven of Swords

The Seven of Swords means that the lie is in play. Someone could be lying to you or trying to trick you. Or, you may have created a web of lies as an excuse for not facing reality or the situation at hand. You need to be honest with yourself at the moment, admitting your feelings and desires. If the card is about someone who wants to deceive you (or is deceiving you), know that this will be short-lived, as eventually, you will find out. In case you are trying to deceive someone, know that you may also be on the verge of being discovered.

A little more about Seven of Swords...

The Seven of Swords somehow symbolizes lies and deception. In the card, we see a man who seems to run away from a military camp with five swords. Two swords got stuck in the ground. However, in the distance, we can see a group of soldiers. One of them is brandishing his sword, that is, it looks like something was discovered.

The card may indicate lies and cheating, but they will not last long. The author could be you, or you could be someone involved with your life or questioning at the moment, suggesting lying, envy, or people taking advantage.
